Giving Tuesday
In the rolling hills of Neno District, Malawi, 700 students from Matope Primary School and 50 families from the surrounding area walk over a mile round trip to use a hand pump at another school. They can barely bring back enough water for drinking, cooking, and bathing, let alone enough to water their gardens. When the pump is too busy or is broken down, they must go to the Shire River, which is lurking with crocodiles. Getting a simple drink of water is a difficult, dangerous task—a task that primarily falls on the shoulders of women and children. This #GivingTuesday, a global day of radical generosity, we can change this narrative forever. Our goal is to raise $19,000 by December 3 to give this community a LifePump and hope for a better future. Join us by giving here: https://ow.ly/2ijg50TZzcV
