Administrative Project Specialist
Gahanna, OhioPosition:
The Administrative Project Specialist role is a part-time role (20 hours/week) that reports to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and provides administrative project support for the Engineering Solutions department leaders.
• Manage scheduling and travel logistics for the CTO and Engineering Solutions Director.Coordinate team meetings, interviews, career fairs, training sessions, and external events.•
• Maintain event calendars and handle registration processes for outbound events and recruiting activities.
• Prepare and reconcile purchase orders in collaboration with the CTO and Controller.
• Track project-related expenditures and update the monthly Engineering Solutions budget.
• Facilitate new employee onboarding including IT setup, training schedules, and materials
• Assist the CTO with quarterly department communications.
• Manage internal and external meeting notes and follow-ups.
• Support the CTO and Engineering Solutions team with other administrative tasks, as needed.
Requirements:
• Strong organization skills and detail oriented.
• High capacity to work and manage small projects independently.
• High capacity to be collaborative for work with teams, including volunteers.
• Understands and supports the mission of a Christ-centered organization dedicated to sharing the Gospel by word and deed.
• Passion and agreement with Design Outreach’s vision and mission.
• Kingdom and abundance-minded when working with ministry partners.
• Strong communication (writing, oral, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer and Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Microsoft Project skills.
• Ability to commit an average of 4 hours per day 5 days per week (20 hours total per week with flexible work hours).
• Works from office in Gahanna, Ohio.
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
