Tales from the Trail – Day 4
Michael made it through the hills of Holmes County yesterday, arriving in Dalton after dark. Along the trail, water was hard to come by—a small but powerful reminder of just how important access to water truly is.
DO’s Engineering Solutions Director is riding 326 miles on the Ohio to Erie Trail to bring awareness to the urgent need for safe, reliable water in Africa. His goal is to raise $30,000—enough to rehabilitate four broken hand pumps through the MaxLife™ Program.
Michael says sharing stories about Malawi with the people he meets along the trail is one of the best parts of this journey. (Several from today pictured here.)
