Another Great Day!
DO’s Engineering Solutions Director Michael Cook made it from Xenia to Westerville yesterday on his 326-mile mission to raise $30,000 to rehabilitate four hand pumps through the MaxLife™ Program.
While passing through South Charleston, Michael met Steve, Mona, Ellen and Kim (not pictured). Steve, a pastor, and his wife Mona, shared that their niece and her husband are missionaries in the Congo—and one of the first things they did was install a pump to provide clean water. Another example of how water builds a bridge to the gospel. His “campground” last night was the backyard of DO Co-founder and COO Abe Wright!
Today, he’s headed to Danville with two guest riders. More to come!
