76 LifePumps Are on Their Way to Africa
A 40-foot shipping container filled with 76 LifePumps™ is on its way to Malawi and Zambia, marking another important milestone in Design Outreach’s mission to bring safe, reliable water to communities in need.
The 2026 shipment represents months of planning, manufacturing, coordination, and generosity. Every drive rod, riser pipe, spare part, and LifePump kit was inventoried, packed, and secured before beginning the long journey across the Atlantic.
Once the container arrives in Africa, each LifePump will be transported to a community in Malawi or Zambia, where it will be installed and begin serving families who urgently need reliable access to clean water. Safe water close to home means improved health, more time for school and work, and renewed hope for the future.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of DO supporters, donors, and LifePump Champions who passionately advocate for those in need of safe water. We are deeply grateful for everyone who has made this latest shipment possible. We look forward to sharing updates as these LifePumps reach their new homes.
