DO Reaches 100,000 People with the Gospel
We are thrilled to announce that, to date, Design Outreach has reached an estimated 100,000 people with the good news of the Gospel. Already this year, our team has hosted 22 Gospel outreach events, reaching an estimated 3,000 people. Our newest program initiative is our audio Bible listening groups, which already have been transforming lives and providing opportunities for spiritual growth and discipleship.
In Kanjuchi, Malawi, Gospel Outreach Coordinator Pastor Abel Sauti-Phiri reported that the audio Bible the community has been listening to on Wednesdays and Sundays has been strengthening their spiritual lives and promoting unity and forgiveness among them. In Gwengwe, Malawi, 9 women have been meeting every Saturday to listen to the audio Bible. “This is a Muslim community where 99% are Muslims and 1% Christians,” Pastor Abel reported. “Their testimonies are that they are enjoying hearing much about Jesus Christ. They do not have a written Bible, and the audio Bible that was distributed by DO is helping them.”
