Design Outreach has developed a solution to repair millions of broken hand pumps around the world. The MaxLife™ Centralizer is a game changer for people who rely on traditional hand pumps for water. Judith, a Beneficiary in Gidiyele, Malawi, explains.
“When our pump breaks down, we starve, and the children go to school late because they must find alternative water sources. To take care of our homes becomes a challenge, because water is life,” Judith said. “Since our pump was repaired we have water all the time, and there is no more breaking down. Our lives have become better because we are drinking safe water, and our families are now healthy.”
