Hard at Work in Zambia
Our team is hard at work this week in Zambia providing training for nearly 40 attendees and completing initial installations for our India Mark 2 (IM2) MaxLife Program. Like the MaxLife Centralizer, which is designed to extend the life of Afridev hand pumps, the IM2 MaxLife Program provides critical updates to prevent failures in the other most commonly used hand pump around the world. A highlight of this week’s training and preparations was that the District Commissioner and Council Secretary stopped by for a visit, highlighting the importance of this project in promoting sustainable water access across Zambia. The visit from the government officials provided great encouragement and inspiration for our team and session attendees, and we are looking forward to seeing how these first few installations transform communities with safe and reliable water they can count on.
