Victoria, a Beneficiary in Gidiyele, Malawi, told us how her life has changed since Design Outreach upgraded her community’s hand pump with the MaxLife™ Centralizer.

“Nowadays, everyone is accessing water easily, we can use the water to make some bricks for our houses and to grow vegetables,” Victoria said.

The MaxLife™ Centralizer replaces a component that is currently responsible for an estimated 75% of breakdowns–extending maintenance intervals from approximately 6 months to over 2 years and dramatically reducing the financial burden communities face when a hand pump breaks.
