DO Working With Living Water International
Design Outreach is thrilled to be partnering with Living Water International (LWI) to upgrade 40 commonly used hand pumps in Zambia and bring clean water to those who desperately need it.
The India Mark 2 MaxLife Program is a two-year demonstration of these upgraded pumps which are designed to reduce corrosion, prevent lead contamination, and minimize pump breakdowns that keep communities trapped in the cycle of poverty. Initial testing in Uganda has been extremely positive, and we are excited to bring this solution to Zambia, a country that is dealing with rapid hand pump corrosion.
With governments and international agencies increasingly focused on solving hand pump corrosion and reliability issues, we look forward to widespread adoption of this lifechanging solution.
