Meet Rabecca
A heartfelt thanks you to our friends at the Salas O’Brien Columbus office who recently raised $3,260 through their annual golf tournament to fund a LifePump™. Right now, families in Chiwinga walk long distances to collect unsafe water. Rabecca Soko, a parent in Chiwinga, explains the dramatic difference LifePump will make.
“Now my family will have water very reliably and can live a healthy life. I will make a backyard vegetable garden that will boost nutrition in my household and sell the surplus for business. I will make bricks and build a new house for my household. And my children will no longer suffer from diarrhea so they can attend school.”
This is the second year Salas O’Brien has partnered with Design Outreach, and we are deeply grateful for their partnership in helping us bring our lifechanging solutions to people like Rabecca who are in desperate need of safe water.
