Welcome, Nathan
Design Outreach is thrilled to welcome to Nathan Stoltzfus to our Engineering Solutions Department. As a Senior Field Engineer, Nathan supports the testing and implementation of life-sustaining technologies in the field across all DO projects. He also assists with manufacturing, shipment preparation, and the implementation of test procedures related to product development.
Nathan graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering from The Ohio State University. He began his engineering career in Ecological and Environmental Engineering at Los Alamos Technical Associates followed by Coldwater Consulting before returning to Ohio State to work as a research engineer focused on agricultural water quality and best management practice design.
Nathan joins a growing team of gifted engineers who are working to empower vulnerable communities around the globe. With the recent expansion of our Engineering Solutions Lab, DO furthers our commitment to bring reliable technology solutions to those who need them most.
This fully operational hub of innovation, testing, and rapid development is equipped with cutting-edge tools that empower innovation, like our new FormLabs Form 4B printer. This state-of-the-art printer is capable of printing with more than 20 different materials, enabling us to produce detailed and durable prototypes with an unmatched level of accuracy.
