Working Toward Launch

This 79-year-old patient at Malamulo Hospital in Malawi is suffering from a severe wound from hitting his foot on a stone. A wound like his in a place like Malawi—where people walk barefoot, lack adequate sanitation and hygiene, and have limited access to healthcare—can lead to severe infection, amputation, and even death. That’s why DO is working to launch our Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) device, designed to provide reliable, affordable, and efficient wound treatment in under-resourced medical facilities. DO’s NPWT device could be transformative for people like this man who are suffering and are in need of hope and healing.
