Vision Night – Naples, Florida
Last week, some of our team had the great privilege of joining Stephanie Fonseca for a Vision Night event at her business Kunjani Craft Coffee and Gallery in Naples, Florida, to share about the mission and future vision of Design Outreach. Originally from Zimbabwe, Stephanie began partnering with DO back in 2017 and is passionate about helping people living in extreme poverty. In fact, her business is built upon a deep desire to give back.
Here’s a small highlight from Stephanie’s inspiring story she shared during the event: “When the idea for Kunjani was born, I knew right away that it needed to be more than just a coffee shop. Not only did I want to open a place for my local community to enjoy and feel welcome, but I needed to do my part in lending a hand back to help those still struggling in Africa. While searching for an organization to support, I was also extremely picky due to seeing and hearing about many nonprofits making false promises to the African people despite their best intentions. This is where DO stood out to me as the right choice. After learning their mission, it was and is still clear that they are committed to alleviating global poverty and transforming communities around the world physically, economically, and spiritually.”
What a privilege it is to partner with passionate people like Stephanie who desire to make a lasting difference in the world. We had a great time dreaming about the many ways we can transform millions of lives around the world together.
