Giving Tuesday
Meet Felister Zenengeya from the community surrounding Matope Primary School in Malawi. She is a 27-year-old mother and businesswoman who faces the reality of water scarcity every single day. Here’s what she has to say: “When the hand pump (in a neighboring community) breaks down, people get water from the Shire River where there are crocodiles, and some have been attacked. I spend a lot of time collecting water, so there’s less time for business. With LifePump, I will go to my business on time hence more income for my family. My child will go to school in good time. I will grow vegetables to sell and eat.” This #GivingTuesday, we have the chance to turn Felister’s story upside down. In honor of the global day of generosity on Dec. 3, we are challenging our followers and supporters to fund a LifePump for Matope Primary School and empower Felister to live the life she has always dreamed of. https://ow.ly/lAmt50TZzqU
