Design Outreach Introduces New Virtual Fundraising Events

During a year when many of our social gatherings and travel plans have been canceled and postponed, Design Outreach has created a fun and interactive way for us to explore the Lower Shire River Valley of Malawi—together! Our Life in Malawi tour gives you, your family, and friends an interactive and hands-on virtual tour of the country known as the warm heart of Africa—all from the comfort of your own home.

The Life in Malawi tour allows us to gather in-person or virtually to celebrate the rainy season that is coming to Malawi after a five-month-long dry period. With average daytime temperatures reaching 80-84℉ between May and September and virtually no rain during these months, the surface water evaporates into a wet mist that floats across the land. Now, with the rainy season, the people of Malawi are eager to celebrate the quenching of a long thirst—and you are invited!

Design Outreach has planned and assembled everything you will need to host your tour to explore the flavors and sounds of Malawi. A boxed Tour Kit provides a once-in-a-lifetime family-friendly experience with authentic foods and drinks, kids activities, and traditional music. Every tour host is provided with a Design Outreach Tour Guide for the event so you can sit back and enjoy! We are praying this helps raise awareness of what God is doing in Malawi and how you can play an important role.
