Hello Mission Control Team,
I hope all was well with you today!
Today was another wonderful day, with a bit of a shorter ride today of 100.26 miles according to Strava. The weather was sunny and warm, with a low of 63° this morning and a high in the upper 80’s.
I had some really good conversations with folks about the critical need for clean water in Africa while visiting the Chapel of the Transfiguration in Moose, Wyoming. One lady was a librarian and knew instantly the importance of clean water. She had selected a book for children to read called “A Long Walk to Water” by Linda Sue Park. Since I had cell signal, I downloaded the Audible book and listened to it during my ride today. I would highly recommend it because it is based on a true story in South Sudan and shows how the lack of clean water severely impacts communities.
The plan for Dsy 3 tomorrow is 132.4 miles from Dubois, Wyoming to Jeffrey City, Wyoming. The weather report is showing a lower 49° in the morning with a high of about 80° and mostly sunny and windy.
Please pass my “thank you” to all the J&J teams for their great support for this life-saving effort!
Thankfully,
Michael
