DO Blog: Stories from the Golden Cup Day 11

Hello GC-21 Mission Control Team,

We arrived safely in Alexander, KS, after riding approximately 121 miles. The cell signal here at the Alexander rest stop is very poor, so I will need to keep this brief and send pictures later. I was not able to upload today’s ride in Strava yet due to the poor cell signal.

The weather was very rainy in the morning, but the rain cleared in early afternoon and became a very pleasant day, in spite of a mild headwind most of the day.

I saw lots of wheat fields and cattle, and was able to take some pictures of the scenery and the spectacular Kansas sunset.

The plan for Friday is to ride to Medora, KS, which is about 112 miles away.

I hope you all are having a wonderful week.

Kind Regards,

Michael
